I can't remember when it was I last took a holiday in my own country, most probably I was a child, the unreliability of our weather means that we almost always go abroad for extended breaks in sunnier climes, a requirement my wife usually insists upon. This year however we traveled for four hours and one hundred and eighty miles to the seaside resort of Hunstanton in Norfolk, where we spent a week with our dog, now too old to be left with strangers, and never more than a few steps away from our side. Good weather allowed us to go for extended walks together and we doted on him the whole week as he may not be with us next year, a rather sad thought for both of us. Above are some pictures I took from around the Town and beach front which was bathed in the kind of light a Photographer gets only when they are lucky, and this week I was.
